Stop location sharing

In the app, choose Stop all on the map, or turn off sharing for an individual person. Sharing stops on your phone immediately. If your phone is offline, remote removal is retried when it reconnects; previously delivered updates expire within two minutes.

Delete your account

Open Settings > Delete account and confirm. An internet connection is required. This removes your server profile, memberships, sharing permissions, and circles you own. Other members keep their own accounts.

If you cannot access the app, email support. We may need to verify ownership before processing an account request. Never send your private key, authentication token, precise location, or invitation code in an email.

Location is unavailable or outdated

Check the internet connection and location permissions in iPhone Settings. Background sharing requires appropriate location permission. GPS accuracy varies, and iOS may pause or stop background updates. Force-quitting the app can interrupt sharing.

Identity and safety codes

Only share with people you know. Compare safety codes using a trusted channel before verifying someone. Joining a circle does not automatically share your location. A changed safety code must not be ignored.

Not an emergency service

Breadcrumbs does not guarantee continuous tracking or emergency assistance. Use your local emergency services when needed.
